A Living 2,280-Year-Old Miracle

Built around 227 BC by governor Li Bing and still irrigating the Chengdu Plain today — no dam wall, just pure hydraulic genius: the Fish-Mouth levee, Feishayan spillway and Bottle-Neck channel.

Enter via Lidui Park: the Bottle-Neck channel (Baopingkou), Feishayan spillway, Fish-Mouth levee, then across the Anlan suspension bridge to Erwang Temple. Optional shuttle + headset ¥50.

16:30 · Yulei Pavilion panorama (optional) 玉垒阁扶梯

Optional escalator ¥40 up to Yulei Pavilion for the full panorama — one half gazing at the Chengdu Plain, the other overlooking the entire works. Then head back to Chengdu (arrive ≈ 20:00).

Pick-up time and zone 接站说明

Shuttle pick-up runs 06:00–06:30 inside Chengdu's 3rd Ring Road; the coach departs the meeting point at 06:50. If your van is more than 10 minutes late, call the emergency contact we send with your booking. Guests who miss the departure are considered no-shows.

ID, passports and ticket refunds 证件与门票

All parks use real-name entry: bring your original passport (Chinese guests: ID card). Concession and free-entry refunds apply to Chinese ID holders only — overseas passport holders are charged the full adult rate at both parks. Special passes (student, disability, press, military) are valid with Chinese ID only.

实名制入园请携带护照原件；门票优免退费政策仅适用中国身份证件，外宾两景区均按全价执行；优惠证件须报名时提前告知。
Walking and health 健康与体力

The day involves gentle walking plus stairs and slopes at Dujiangyan (the optional escalator removes the biggest climb). Not recommended for guests with serious heart, lung, brain or blood conditions; guests over 70 need an able-bodied companion and a signed health waiver (accident insurance does not cover under-2s or over-70s).

都江堰有台阶与坡道；70岁以上需家人陪同并签免责书，2岁以下及70岁以上不在承保范围。
What to bring 行李建议

Passport, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, a light rain layer, and some cash/WeChat-Alipay for optional items. No smoking in the parks — fines are heavy.

Order may shift 行程顺序

Visiting order may be adjusted for seasons, traffic or park capacity — the spots stay the same. If the whole group is under 10, a driver-guide arrangement may apply.
